The Artist
As a graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, I learned concepts of interior design: valuable insights of color theory, idea visualization marketing and communications. My first job was with a prestigious package design and marketing firm in Greenwich, CT. There I learned about the volumes of research on consumer preferences/desire combined with how artistic fusion are utilized to create the successful packaging of products. Many years as a Realtor, inspired me to bring home staging to the east coast, which at the time was nearly unheard of. It’s been a gift to have always done what I love.
One morning while scanning the internet, I was intrigued by an advertisement for an advanced decorative finishing class offered by Faux Effects International. I was excited to see that their factory was just down the road in Fort Pierce, then disappointed to find the class was being offered in Dallas, Texas. I had started Home Staging business in 2005 which has provided me with many years of experience transforming and repurposing items and staging homes and businesses and to enhance their attractiveness. Truth be told I have been asked to “stage” people for nearly the same purpose! Something in my gut told me to go for it. That class changed by life. It was taught by one of the most talented top notch artisans in the industry, and I literally couldn’t stop grinning like a six year old introduced to the sandbox for the very first time. I realized that all the years of of my prior work history and education had prepared me for what was to become my new career path!

Now, I am able to create fine finishes right here in Vero Beach, Fl and that gives me such tremendous pleasure. I think you will love them too; my work isn’t like anything you’ve probably ever seen before. I continue to stay abreast of the latest trends and finishing techniques in the industry with courses in Dallas, Chicago, Charlotte and Sarasota and visits to High Point. I am licensed, insured and look forward to helping you acquire the look you’ve always longed for.
